Nick started and operates Dancer Concrete Design, a specialty concrete finishing company that started in his basement. He lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and his favorite thing is celebrating life with his wife, Alexis, and three sons and daughter.
Alexis is the wife of Nick and the mother of three beautiful, wild, and creative little boys, Clark, Charlie, Clyde, and daughter Chloe. She has her roots in Interior Design with a B.S. from Purdue University. She has been involved in the creative workings at Dancer Concrete Design since the business was established in 2011. You can find her pursuing one of her many passions in design, writing, art, yoga, or gardening.
Jacob has been a part of the Dancer Concrete Design family since 2014. He identifies well with the organization’s values and appreciates the positive environment of DCD. He is very family-oriented and enjoys kayaking, hiking, and being outdoors.
Ben joined the DCD team in September 2015. He enjoys the hands-on nature of the job and working alongside other like-minded individuals that support and care for each other. He has a background in animation from Huntington University and enjoys creating projects in his free time. He also enjoys watching movies and spending time with his family.
Dennis has been the business manager for Dancer Concrete Design since 2014. He has his hands in just about everything around the office including human resources, accounting, event planning, and more. He enjoys the community at DCD and jokes that the group of guys keeps him young. He has three children and two grandchildren, and he enjoys experiencing life with them whenever he can.
Nastassia started at Dancer Concrete Design in the Spring of 2020, after completing an MBA in Sustainability. The Dancer Values resonated with her, she knew this was a place that would encourage personal growth. She thought her training in sustainable business and experience as an editor could benefit DCD as well. When she isn’t staring at a spreadsheet or Google Doc, you can find her knitting while listening to a podcast or on a hike with her husband.
Joel began working for DCD as a summer hire but decided to join the team full-time in August 2016. He loves the challenging work and admiring the before and after of the project process. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out at the lake, going on walks, and spending time with his son and girlfriend.
Ben joined the Dancer Concrete Design family after graduating from high school in June 2016. He has enjoyed working in a supportive, positive environment where people are continually encouraging each other to do better each day. He is passionate about golfing and spends his time outside of work practicing and improving his game. In addition to golfing, he enjoys relaxing and spending time with his girlfriend.
Jared started with Dancer Concrete Design in March 2020. He enjoys working with his hands and the satisfaction that comes being with a project from start to finish. He does competitive barbecue, his specialty being pork, in his spare time. He is also a woodworker.
Scott began working with Dancer Concrete Design in August 2017 for the opportunity to learn a new profession that would allow him to have more time for his family. He enjoys the active nature of the work and not being in an office all day. When he’s not working, you can find him cooking with his wife at home or looking for adventures on the road.
Family is important to Isiah. DCD’s strong emphasis on family is the main reason he felt called to work here. He enjoys working with his hands and the physical nature of the work. Every day he’s here, he learns something new about the process and how to deliver BEST WORK as a member of the DCD team. When he’s not here, Isiah can be found checking out new restaurants. He’s always got the best recommendations for small places in NE Indiana.
Robert started working with DCD after deciding that he was ready for a change in his career. He worked in dog grooming for many years prior to joining the team, and still continues helping friends and family with their dog grooming needs outside of work. He has enjoyed getting to know the group of guys he works with and is excited to continue learning and growing through this organization.
Matt has had a lifetime of interesting stories and opportunities. He’s been following DCD for a few years and identified with the focus on faith and family in DCD’s Vision, Driving Force, and Core Values.
He’s an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys being outside—hiking, hunting, foraging, fishing—and being with his wife and children.
Ian was looking for a vocation when he joined our team. He found a position filled with learning opportunities and challenges; we found a team member that’s always willing to lean into his discomfort and grow. In his spare time, Ian enjoys bass fishing and watching movies.
After a successful corporate career, Brandon realized he needed a change of pace away from a desk job and to something more hands-on. DCD’s impact on our local Ft. Wayne, IN, community, our Core Values, and our commitments to our employees made him feel like this is his true calling.
He’s happily married with two young children. The Coes enjoy spending Summer out on one of the local lakes. But on Sundays, you’ll find him playing hockey with our local Adult Hockey League.
Anthony loves to work hard; he also loves being in a place where the work is enjoyable and meaningful. DCD gives him a place where he can come in, develop his skills, and get a good day’s work done. He’s willing to say YES and get everything done before turning off the lights for the night.
He’s an avid video gamer, mainly focusing on first-person shooters. He also enjoys playing basketball with his siblings and friends.
Ashton chose DCD because of the friendly faces and great vibes. He was looking for an opportunity to learn a trade, develop his skills, and grow personally and professionally. After his trial days, he knew that this was going to be a great, but hard, place to work—that was just what he was looking for.
When he’s not on site, he’s spending time with his family, playing basketball with his friends, or playing video games with with brother (Anthony).
Adam appreciates the variety of work he gets to do at DCD. Every job is unique, with new opportunities to lean into the edge of our abilities to learn new techniques and refine our existing skills. This has given him the space to truly develop his skills as a Craftsman.
He enjoys spending time in nature—he regularly enjoys the numerous North East Indiana hiking trails. Salamonie River State Forest is a favorite for him and his long-term girlfriend.
