The Grout Coat process fills in the small pores and hairline cracks in the concrete floor. This increases the density of the floor and makes it easier to clean. Grout is a cementitious product used to patch minor imperfections in concrete floors. We apply the grout in a thin layer to cover the entire floor. When we continue the polishing process, the grout haze on the surface is removed, leaving any imperfections filled.
WHEN IS A GROUT COAT USED?
- When there are minor surface imperfections and lots of hairline cracking or crazing.
- On heavy grinding projects, including old, pitted concrete floors; our StrongTread Polish – Deep system; and Surface Polish systems.
