Epoxy at Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

Here’s the scoop: Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream opened their Fort Wayne Southwest location in Spring 2023. With over 100 legendairy flavors to choose from, you can’t go wrong with a cool treat from Handel’s.

Dancer Concrete Design installed 1,200 square feet of our TreadWell Decorative Quartz epoxy system in Handel’s kitchen area. A Urethane Mortar base coat was installed for additional durability. Their signature blue was chosen for the quartz broadcast mix, bringing in a fun pop of color that is anything but vanilla. During installation, we built 220 linear feet of integral cove around the cabinetry bases to create a seamless transition between the floor and vertical spaces. Our Decorative Quartz system provides slip- and impact resistance, making it a sweet choice for this ice cream kitchen.
