The Grout Coat process fills in the small pores and hairline cracks in the concrete floor. This increases the density of the floor and makes it easier to clean. Grout is a cementitious product used to patch minor imperfections in concrete floors. We apply the grout in a thin layer to cover the entire floor. When we continue the polishing process, the grout haze on the surface is removed, leaving any imperfections filled.

A grout coat is a liquid consistency that is troweled into the surface of the concrete to fill small pores and cracks.

WHEN IS A GROUT COAT USED?

  • When there are minor surface imperfections like pinholes, hairline cracking, or crazing.
