Overlay
Surface by Dancer Concrete Design is a brand of overlays used as a topping on sound and solid concrete surfaces. Our resurfacing process allows us to bring a new look to a space, without the hassle of a complete rip out and replacement. The new surface is durable, strong, and great for remodeling projects where polished concrete is desired by the existing substrate is in less than desirable condition.
Surface Smooth
Surface Smooth overlay is a cream finished overlay providing a soft and rich texture and finish similar to a brand new concrete pour. This overlay has the option to be colored with dyes or stains and is finished with SealCraft Clear+ urethane finish.

Surface Polish
Surface Polish overlay is a concrete overlay that resembles traditional Class B (Light aggregate exposure with some cream) aggregate exposed concrete. This overlay is finished and polished much like a traditional concrete floor, and can be left natural or colored with dyes or stains.

Surface Preparation
Surface Preperation
Dancer Concrete Design offers surface preparation throughout the region. Our grinders range in size from 5" to 64" and can remove a variety of coatings, cement based material, and glues from concrete surfaces. We work on projects from 500 SF to 200,000 SF. Many general contractors find our pricing and effectiveness more affordable and efficient than renting equipment.
- Misc. Grinding/Leveling in preparation for other floor products.
- Thin-set, flooring adhesive, and carpet glue removal.
- Tile, VCT, Carpet removal.
- Air scrubber rental.
- Specialty planetary grinding ( no deep gouges).
- Hourly misc. grinding.
- Cement based leveling and patching.

All surface preparation is done in accordance with OSHA/HEPA standards utilizing specialty dust control procedures and equipment.
TERRAZZO
Surface Terrazzo
Surface Terrazzo is based on the old world Italian flooring installation of marble chips or broken stones and glass mixed with an epoxy matrix to create an endless array of patterns, colors, and finishes. The Terrazzo topping is 1/4" system that can be installed with new concrete. Also, older Terrazzo floors can be refinished through our StrongTread polished floor system.
